the objective of this project is to make use of the island's natural attractive by differenciating from punta del este (local seaside resort), that is why a soft intervention was chosen.

looking in that direction, the project tries to exalt its strenghts and opportunities (beaches, views, nature itself) incorporating two strong interventions and equipment all along the island, enabling different activities; foreseeing and solving both threats and weaknesses.

the south building protects the island from the main winds while it generates an entrance stage to the island, where temporary activities can take place. 

the north one is a landmark - island - landart building with different activities.

cabo polonio is a rustic fishermen town, with many sand dunes in the surroundings and no electricity except for a lighthouse 

for the last years, in summer, tourists have been crowding this little town.

the project consists of 3 different interventions that enable new activities: lighting fires, informal meetings, resting, etc.
